PERGUNTAS FREQUENTES
“Does your church have a specific denomination?”
Our church is connected to the international Catch The Fire movement, a network of charismatic/Pentecostal churches committed to the presence of God, the family of faith, and the transformation of the world.
Although we are not part of a traditional denomination with rigid hierarchical structures, we are a Spirit-filled Christian church with a strong biblical foundation and relationships with other churches in the same movement.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, and some to be prophets... for the equipping of the saints.” – Ephesians 4:11-12
Where are you located?
We are in Felgueiras, in a quiet area next to the Felgueiras Volunteer Fire Department—ideal for those looking for a church in the city center, filled with the presence of God.
Who can attend your church?
Everyone is welcome! Our church is open to anyone, regardless of their background, past, or religious experience. Jesus welcomed everyone (John 6:37), and we follow that same principle.
Do you accept people from other religions or who have never been to church before?
Yes! Many of our members came from different backgrounds or had never set foot in a church before. Here, the focus is on getting to know Jesus and experiencing real transformation through the Holy Spirit.
Is there a dress code for attending church?
No. Come as you are. The most important thing is your heart. God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). We want you to feel comfortable and respected.
Is your church evangelical or Catholic?
We are a Christian church with no traditional denomination. We are based on the Bible, faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
“Is your church Pentecostal?”
Yes. We are a church filled with the Spirit, with contemporary worship, prayer for healing, prophetic teaching, and a constant search for revival.
What does “church filled with the Spirit” mean?
It means that we believe in the active and present presence of the Holy Spirit, as described in Acts 2. This includes spiritual gifts, healing, prophecy, divine guidance, and a transformed life.
“They were all filled with the Holy Spirit…” – Acts 2:4
Do you speak in tongues or pray for healing?
Yes, we believe that spiritual gifts are for today (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). We pray for healing, deliverance, and God’s direction. Everything is done with order, reverence, and love.
Are the services formal or more free-flowing?
Our services are contemporary, free, and led by the Spirit, but with respect and organization. There is worship, teaching, prayer, and space for God to move.
How can I get involved or participate?
You can participate from day one! Just talk to the leadership after the service or come to our weekly groups. We also have an integration group for new members.
Do you have activities for children and youth?
Yes! We have ministries for children, teenagers, and young adults.
How can I find out more or visit?
